DESIGNING THE CAPITAL: L'ENFANTS GRAND PLAN
the sunset tour

City designer Peter (Pierre) L'Enfant’s city plan for this magnificent capital is now largely forgotten. But his visionary plan blended the best examples of European capitals, ancient Greece and Rome. Our tours mostly take place during sunset or a bit ealier - what photographers call the “golden hour”-, when the light falling on the monuments and bridges provides the richest hue.

Desserts and beverages – including a wine, beer and Margarita bar – will be available for purchase onboard.

The cruise takes approximately two hours. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
