Directions & Parking

BOARDING LOCATION:

Option #1) for Daytime cruises (and ALL nighttime cruises)
3100 K St. NW, Washington, DC 20007 [That's in GEORGETOWN, DC's shopping and dining mecca]

GET DIRECTIONS OR VIEW LARGER MAP

By TAXI Every cabbie and Uber-man in this city knows where the Georgetown waterfront is. Look for a restaurant named Nick's Riverside Grill. We pull up right in front!

By Metro (subway)... Though Foggy Bottom is the closest Metro stop (it's a 12-15 min. walk), if you're wearing heals we recommend the Farragut North station, and then walking half a block to K St. and getting on the frequent Circulator bus -just $1- (towards Georgetown). Hop off at 31st. St.

By CAR Use the interactive map above and click 'Get Directions' at its bottom. There is plentiful PARKING in Georgetown, though meters are scarce on weekends, so you'll need to enter a pay-garage. (GPS: plug in 3100 K St. NW, Washington, DC 20007).

... OR FROM ...
Option #2) The National Mall DOCK Only daytime cruises. This location is harder to find, so leave extra time! - At the intersection of Ohio Drive SW and West Basin Dr. [nearest landmark is the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial]. There's a Bike-share rack right across the street, and an empty Kiosk.

By TAXI/UBER/LYFT: Ask the driver to take you to the FDR Memorial (or better yet: "Franklin Roosevelt Memorial"). Get out there, and walk back 50 steps to Ohio Drive SW (look for empty kiosk/bike share rack, then cross street).
By CAR: [on Google Maps ONLY: Enter 4592 Ohio Dr SW, Washington, DC. Other GPS apps will not take you to right place] There's free parking along the sidewalk, but scarce after 11am on summer days (and after 9am during Cherry Blossom weekends).
By CIRCULATOR ($1 shuttle bus): Catch this at a dozen points around the National Mall, at Union Station, in the hotel district in Northwest DC, or at various Metro stops. Get off at FDR Memorial stop.
By METRO: It's at least a 20+ min. walk from the Smithsonian stop (though a very beautiful one). So you'll be ready for the cool river breeze, and cold drinks, after you step onboard!

Ohio Drive SW boarding point
Above: An empty kiosk and bike rental rack are ACROSS the street from this dock. A very small sign marks the dock, (but that's all the Park Service allows... and why the National Mall is so beautiful!)
